How do I measure a teen for their first bra?+
Take two quick measurements: first, measure snugly around the ribcage right under the chest to find the band size. Second, measure loosely around the fullest part of the bust. Subtract the ribcage from the bust size to find the cup letter.
What size is a first bra?+
Junior bra sizes commonly start at 28AA, 30AA, 28A, or 30A. If standard bands are slightly loose, seamless crop tops in size XS or S are the perfect starting point.
When should a teen start wearing a bra?+
Whenever she feels ready or wants one! Usually, pre-teens begin wearing simple bralettes or crop tops around ages 10 to 12 when breast buds begin to grow and feel sensitive under clothes.
